GoddardFry started as a partnership between Peter Goddard, a chartered accountant with decades of experience of supporting individuals and businesses with their tax and accountancy needs and Alex Fry DipPFS, a modern, independent financial planner focused on delivering a proactive service for clients, after being introduced in 2020.
Having grown to a team of 10 with a total of 4 advisers we have the scale to really deliver but the flexibility to do what works for our clients without the draw backs of a corporate structure and negative culture. Our people are highly qualified, very skilled and passionate about what we do, making a difference to our clients financial futures.
We provide a tailored wealth planning solution that seeks to enhance tax planning, grow your portfolio, increase tax efficiency and protect against unforeseen events and as a provider of independent financial advice we analyse the whole market of providers and solutions to find the best possible outcomes for clients.
We also offer advice on Mortgage and Equity Release meaning that whatever your needs, GoddardFry is here to offer support and guidance towards your goals.
Peter Goddard
Peter founded his accountancy practice Goddard & Co in 1981 and has continued to build on their enviable reputation for providing excellent advice and first class service to their business and personal clients alike.
Providing professional accountancy services to businesses for over 30 years Goddard & Co have helped guide many clients from startup to established successful family businesses, in some cases now controlled by the second or third generation.
A proactive and forward thinking approach to planning their clients affairs in addition to the more routine Accountancy and Taxation compliance means they can make a valuable and positive input in the success of their clients. Whether you require an integrated business strategy, a back office solution, access to corporate finance or specialist tax advice Goddard & Co can help you achieve your short and long term goals.
Alex Fry
Alex started his career in Financial Services with Friends Life in Salisbury, where he guided customers setting up insurances before moving to a product development role and started his qualifications.
Having built a base of clients and professional connections in Wiltshire, Hampshire, Bath, and London, Alex brings an active approach to delivering on each client’s objectives. Whether these require detailed investment analysis, careful product selection to take advantage of taxation rules, or modelling clients’ current financial positions to plan for the future.
Alex aims to deliver this in an increasingly accessible way with a secure online client portal for communicating, sharing documents, and valuations for clients which reduces paperwork, delays and leads to lower costs and better outcomes via efficient systems and processes.
Having designed and managed investment portfolios at two previous firms, Alex has the tools and experience to analyse existing investments and look for alternatives that balance risk and return to deliver the investment
journey you require.
